The Gap Minders is a show about tackling gaps and lifting lives. The podcast is hosted by leaders from the United Way of San Diego County and the San Diego Council on Literacy. Our CEO Christian Wallis made a guest appearance on Episode 36 of the podcast to have an important conversation about healthcare challenges and solutions for the people living within the Grossmont Healthcare District.

Our Fall Open House on November 2nd, 2022 – rain or shine, power or no power – was quite a memorable one.

On September 14-16th, members of the Grossmont Healthcare District (GHD) leadership team attended the 70th Annual Association of California Healthcare Districts (ACHD) Meeting, representing one of the 76 healthcare districts in the state. The event provided great opportunities for networking and covered topics like strategy, advocacy, and culture and inclusion during breakout sessions.

On Thursday, August 11th, the Grossmont Healthcare District Board of Directors helped “break ground” on the site of the new Sharp Grossmont Hospital Neurosciences Center – a $58 million Sharp HealthCare ENVISION project.
